Gallery Red

Gallery Red presents a dynamic collection of contemporary art and iconic design. Located a short walk from the Paseo Borne and Plaza del Mercat, this gallery features works by well-established and emerging artists. You’ll find paintings by Basquiat, prints by Warhol, sculptures by Calder, and more. In addition to its 20 exhibition spaces across Spain, Gallery Red has opened “Exhibition,” a new showroom in Palma dedicated exclusively to solo and group exhibitions. It also doubles as a luxury lifestyle store where visitors can purchase exclusive vintage furniture.

Pelaires

Pelaires has welcomed great artists like Miró, Picasso, Tàpies, Calder, and Chillida since its founding in 1969 by Pep Pinya. Today, it continues to exhibit and represent top contemporary artists from around the world, with exhibitions changing every two to three months. The gallery also supports young and mid-career artists and is located along the narrow and historic Can Verí, home to Galeria K.

Kewenig Gallery

Kewenig Gallery, established in 1989, has galleries in Palma and Berlin. Its Palma gallery is housed in the 13th-century Sant Feliu Oratory just off the Paseo Borne. The gallery provides a prestigious canvas for a broad range of local and international artists and shares artists’ creative processes through Studio Sessions on Instagram. It’s located near the vibrant La Lonja neighborhood, with Rialto Living and Gerhardt Braun Gallery on the same street.

Rialto Living

Rialto Living, a beautiful lifestyle store in Palma, dedicates its light-filled upstairs gallery to regularly changing art exhibits. The gallery showcases works by national and international artists, featuring a range of mediums such as photography, collages, watercolors, lithographs, and sculptures. Rialto Living selects art that can easily be incorporated into homes, with many small and medium-sized pieces available. Beyond art, the store promotes creativity in textiles, furnishings, and household decorations, offering ethically-made fashion and gifts. The 15th-century building also houses a traditional patio with the store’s café.

Fundación Joan March

The Fundación Joan March houses significant works by 20th-century Spanish vanguard artists in a handsome 18th-century building along the bustling Calle San Miguel. The collection includes pieces by Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris, and Salvador Dalí. The foundation hosts seminars, lectures, concerts, and temporary exhibitions that bring together works by national and international contemporary artists on common themes. It also features a research library.
